I used to sell online! I am 67 years old and have always loved garage sales. I thought Facebook marketplace would be amazing! I posted my first ad decluttering my shed and doing some spring cleaning. A young gentlemen messaged me for some more information and then POOF! Disappeared. I assumed he had moved on, but a week later when my shed was broken into the tools and other stuff was taken. I never wanted to post online again, then I found Meet Here. Now I can post without using my home address. I feel confident selling online again!
As a waitress I was consistently working till 6-7 pm. I had a few jackets I was looking to sell. Meeting in the dark at 8 pm was sketchy enough I didn't want to meet at my house, but meeting up at a dark 7-11 was worse!! Found this place and I don't have to get one of my friends on SOS mode when I want to sell anymore.
I live rural. Selling stuff online is a drag and I'd never do it on my own again! So many people have gotten lost or just don't show up! This...This is a lifesaver! drop off my item and wait for an e-transfer? I'm going to be doing a good shop clean this summer!
Honestly, I just have a really small social battery. I don't like seeing strangers on a good day. I've missed so many messages just not feeling right or tired at the end of the school day. Thankfully Meet Here takes the meeting aspect of selling out and I don't have to worry about people.
I am a college student my time is spent in class and then spending the rest of my "free" time studying. I had to stop selling online because people would tell me they can meet up at a good place, at a good time, when I'm free. Then when that time comes, they never show up, wasting my time. Thanks to Meet Here I don't have to spend my day waiting.
I've sold lots of stuff over many years and the one thing I could never get away from was the people who lowball. Even when a price is set fairly, they still try to get money off. That just drives me nuts. Now all I have to do is take my item in with the price and I have peace of mind knowing that my item will be sold for the price I left. Thanks, Meet Here!
I just don't have the time to sell online. Between work and school I just don't have a second to spare. So I figured consigning my 300$ boots would be the best avenue. WHAT A JOKE! The 2 stores offered to sell for around 200$ and would take 40% of the sell price. A meager $120 for the 1-week young, didn't fit right, never actually worn boots.
